Anupamaa is one of the longest running and successful Indian television serials with an extremely emotional story, relatable characters, and social upliftment.

The show is technically Season 1 because it is shown in continuous fashion after it began in July 2020 on Star Plus. The show ended up airing almost 1,650 episodes before mid-2025. There was a significant generation leap for the show in 2024, creating new characters and stories. There was also a special prequel mini-series produced during April, 2022 called Anupamaa: Namaste America on Disney+ Hotstar with 11 episodes about the life of Anupamaa before getting married.
